About

Our aim is the engineering of damaged and diseased tissues in musculoskeletal system, including muscle, bone, cartilage and surrounding tissues (tendons, ligaments). Engineered scaffolds and hydrogels with populated progenitor / stem cells mimic the 3D microenvironment of native tissues, in terms of mechanical and hydrodynamic status, recapitulating the in vivo damaged tissues with functional integrity and also providing tissue engineered platforms for organoids study.
