Guang-Zhen Jin received his Ph.D from Gyeongsang National University in 2008.

Following his graduation, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Pohang University of Science and Technology in 2009-2010 and then a research professor at the Institute of Tissue Regeneration Engineering (ITREN),

Dankook University in 2010-2018.

He was appointed as a professor in the College of Dentistry at Dankook University in 2019.

Currently, he is a full-time professor of the Institute of Tissue Regeneration Engineering (ITREN).
